A plastic divider can also be fitted inside the green box if a householder doesn't require two boxes. Dog waste bins - In order to carry out a review of the location of dog waste bins in Leyburn a map has been obtained of all current bins.  This will be forwarded to all Councillors.  It may be possible to re-site some existing bins located adjacent to litter bins.

Railings on the Mount and St Mary’s Mount - Highways have now repaired the railings but cannot repaint them due to financial restraints.  Prices will be sought from local painters.

Ambulance bay re-location to Commercial Square - The Bolton Arms was contacted to request permission to put a sign on the wall above the bay. Punch Taverns had replied to say that they had no objections to this but since the building is listed, planning consent may be required.

          1. TIC in Leyburn – Councillors discussed a letter from Martin Crowson at Dales Haven concerning the future of the service. He pointed out that most visitors have researched their visit online before they come and the demand for a walk-in tourist point is very low nowadays.  He asked for the thoughts of Councillors on this matter and it was generally agreed that a location also open at weekends would be ideal.  When the new extension at St Matthews Church is completed then it may be possible to have a small tourist point in there.  In the meantime Councillors will ask if a small area in the library could be used.
