g. Act of Remembrance in Market Place on Sunday, 9th November at 10.45 to be followed by service at Methodist Church and smaller gathering on
Tuesday, 11th November at 11 a.m. in Market Place.

h. Vacancies for two Town Councillors. Interested parties should write to Town Council giving their details by noon on Friday, 7th November, 2014.

i. To receive letter of resignation from Councillor Iain Bell.

j. To arrange dates for Councillors Surgeries and approve consolidated rules.

k. To adopt new Standing Order re. recording at Council Meetings following new regulations to amend Section 1 of the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act 1960.

l. To revoke Standing Order no. 1 (m) which prohibited recording at any meeting.

m. To adopt new Standing Order 4 (g) to cover procedure for Councillors to use to request that items are added to the agenda. Suggested wording as follows: A Councillor who wishes to put an item on the agenda of the next meeting can do so either during the preceding full meeting of the Council, as a verbal request, or submit such a request for an item to be included on the agenda of the next meeting in writing, either by post or email to the Town Council Office at least ten days before the next Council meeting. Any such request will be considered by the Clerk and the decision whether or not to include that item will be taken by the Clerk.

n. To discuss new arrangements for dealing with planning applications and adopt new Standing Order 16C.

o. To revoke Standing Order 16A re Planning Working Parties.

p. Sunday morning trail bikes in Market Place – Further discussion re. possible action to take.

q. To discuss proposed road markings for Commercial Square to prevent indiscriminate parking at the entrance to Shawl Terrace and additional 'no through road' sign for Shawl Terrace.

r. Request from Wensleydale Round Table to hold bonfire on Shawl Playing Fields on 5th November and for a donation toward cost of Firework display.

s. Leyburn & Mid Wensleydale Business Association – Request for permission to use main Market Place for Christmas Fair and Father Christmas on Saturday,
6th December

t. Leyburn 1940's Weekend – Request for permission to use whole of Market Place and also Commercial Square on 25th & 26th July, 2015.
